How does self check-in work?

The apartment has a smart lock with a numeric keypad. Before you arrive you receive your personal access code by email: enter it on the door keypad and let yourself in, 24 hours a day. There is no need to meet anyone to collect keys.

There is no lift in the building, but it matters less than it sounds: you enter at ground level, with no flights of stairs in the stairwell. Past a small hallway at the door, where coats and cases go, there are 5 steps inside the apartment itself, which sits on the raised ground floor. With a pushchair or a heavy case, that is 5 steps rather than a floor.

Yes, Glam Turin Apartment is pet friendly and dogs and cats are welcome. A €10 per stay supplement applies per pet, and you add it while booking — if you are not travelling with a pet, you pay nothing.

Is the apartment suitable for young children?

Yes. On request we provide a travel cot and a high chair at no extra cost, and there is a folding baby bath too. The cot is in addition to the 4 guests. You come in at ground level and there are 5 steps inside the apartment: a small obstacle with a pushchair, but one worth knowing about beforehand.

Are there cameras in the apartment?

There is no camera inside the apartment. Surveillance cameras are present only outside the property, covering the entrance for security: nothing records the interior, where your privacy is complete.

Rates run from €73 to €249 per night depending on the season, with the highest prices in August and during major city events. Booking direct on our site means no booking fees. The City of Turin tourist tax of 3.80 € per person per night is added to the rate.

Is parking available?

Yes. A public car park and a partner garage are both a short walk from Via Belfiore 61. San Salvario is central and well served by transport, so many guests leave the car and get around on foot or by metro.

Is the apartment entirely mine, or shared?

The entire apartment is exclusively yours: no shared spaces, no other guests, no common areas. The kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom and private balcony are all yours for the length of your stay.

What we collect

If you email us we process your address and the contents of your message: the data we need in order to reply, and nothing else.

Our hosting provider records technical connection data — IP address, browser type, date and time of the request — for security and diagnostics. We do not use it to profile you.

This site installs no profiling cookies and uses no analytics or advertising tools: nothing here follows you from page to page.

Bookings happen on Lodgify

When you choose your dates and continue, you move to the Lodgify booking platform, which sits on a different domain from this one. You enter the booking and payment details there and they are processed under Lodgify’s own privacy policy: this site never sees or stores your card details.

Once we receive a booking we process what is needed to run the stay: name, contact details, dates and number of guests.

Legal obligations about guests

Italian law requires us to report guest details to the Questura through the Alloggiati Web portal within 24 hours of arrival, and to collect and pay the tourist tax to the City of Turin. That is why we have to ask for an identity document at check-in.

This processing does not depend on your consent, because it fulfils a legal obligation we cannot leave out.

Why we process it

To answer your enquiries and to perform the accommodation contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); to meet the legal obligations described above (art. 6(1)(c)); for the technical security of the site (art. 6(1)(f)).

We run no automated marketing, send no newsletter and do not pass your data to third parties for commercial purposes.

How long we keep it

Emails stay in the mailbox for as long as it takes to handle the enquiry and any dispute. Documents with tax relevance are kept for the ten years the law requires. Data reported to the Questura follows the periods set by the legislation.

Google Maps

The map you see in the Location section is an image hosted on this site, built from OpenStreetMap data: it involves no request to Google at all. Google Maps loads only if you press the button to open the interactive map; only from that moment does Google receive your IP address, under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, and for rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and portability. Write to the email address above: we answer within a month.

If you believe your data is being handled incorrectly you can contact the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
